He is a staff specialist Paediatrician at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. Rohit completed his specialist training at the Sydney Children’s Hospital and is actively involved in teaching and clinical research. His research focussed on examining the role of pollen allergens in atopic diseases. He has held postdoctoral positions in several leading research laboratories including the Australian Proteome Analysis Facility and the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia at UNSW to advance research in paediatrics.
Rohit is experienced in managing patients with all forms of allergy, including food, drugs and environmental allergens. He is also able to treat disorders of the immune system including inflammatory diseases. He is an experienced paediatrician who has worked in Randwick’s paediatric Intensive care unit and the neonatal intensive care unit at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Camperdown.
Rohit is well versed in managing acute as well as chronic and complex medical issues in children. He employs evidence based medical research to develop management plans for his patients while focusing on the expectations of families to achieve the best outcome.
