Kerri completed her specialist training in paediatric endocrinology through Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, working at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick and The Children’s Hospital Westmead, as well as Campbelltown Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital where she was the clinical research fellow in paediatric endocrinology.
Kerri has an interest in research and is currently involved in projects looking at the genetics of short stature as well as the role of sleep and circadian rhythm in Type 1 diabetes. She enjoys teaching and is an Adjunct Associate Lecturer in Paediatrics and Child Health, School of Medicine at the University of New South Wales.
As a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and a member of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes (ANZSPED), Kerri is experienced with seeing infants, children and adolescents with numerous endocrine concerns including:
- Disorders of growth
- Early and delayed puberty
- Pituitary disorders
- Thyroid disorders (hypo and hyperthyroidism)
- Adrenal dysfunction
- Obesity and insulin resistance
Kerri will not be taking referrals for Type 1 Diabetes at this time.
Kerri is passionate about providing patient and family centred care through an evidence based and holistic lens. She prides herself on being approachable and an excellent communicator. Outside of her career, Kerri loves being a mum of three young children and enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
