Dr Bella Shadur
Dr Bella Shadur is a paediatric allergist and immunologist. She completed her paediatric training at
The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, and her allergy and immunology sub-specialisation at
Sydney Children’s Hospital in 2016. Between 2017 and 2019 she undertook a fellowship in primary
immune deficiency and bone marrow transplantation at Hadassah University Medical Center in
Jerusalem. Dr Shadur maintains a keen interest in research and is currently studying the link
between genetic mutations and immune disorders as part of her PhD studies at The Garvan Institute
of Medical Research. Dr Shadur has published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals,
and is the recipient of several competitive grants, including the Australian Government Research
Training Program Scholarship, the Hadassah Australia Research and Fellowship Grant, and the
Garvan-Weizmann Grant for Research Collaboration.
Dr Shadur has extensive experience in managing children with allergic conditions such as food
allergy, eczema, hay fever and asthma as well as immune deficiencies and inflammatory disorders.
She understands the toll these conditions can have on children, parents and families. She looks
forward to creating a safe, practical and effective management plan for your child’s unique needs.
