In 2016-17 she worked at Birmingham Children’s Hospital in the United Kingdom, a quaternary centre with expertise in rare endocrine disorders and metabolic bone disease. Then in 2017-18 she worked at the Red Cross War Memorial Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa, with a focus on adolescent endocrinology and diabetes. Amy has a particular interest in endocrine late effects in oncology patients and is currently undertaking a Masters degree through the University of New South Wales, studying growth outcomes in childhood cancer survivors. In her spare time Amy is often found dreaming of a few extra hours sleep that have been robbed from her by her two delightful young children. Amy sees children of all ages referred by GP’s or specialists with endocrine conditions including growth, puberty, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary conditions.
